About the Job:
As a Tax Account II you will be responsible for helping clients with the collection of tax-related information, reporting to taxation authorities at the Federal, State, county, and local levels in a timely manner, and advising clients on the tax impact of various corporate and/ or individual strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate Federal and State tax returns for Corporations, Partnerships, Individuals, Trusts, and Personal Property Taxes
- Calculate, prepare, and communicate extensions and estimate tax payments for business entities and individual filers
- Perform tax research projects as assigned utilizing authoritative materials
- Maintain a strong understanding of tax laws
- Review work product produced by other tax preparers
- Assist clients with any problems that may arise with their taxes and estimating tax payments
- Complete, Communicate, and follow through on new entity filing and license applications
- Coordinate Cost Segregation Studies
- Assist with audits by various taxation authorities
- Prepare written correspondence to Federal and State agencies and communicate results to clients
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with individual and corporate tax returns
- CPA (Preferred)
- Strong experience with Excel
