About the Job:

As a Tax Account II you will be responsible for helping clients with the collection of tax-related information, reporting to taxation authorities at the Federal, State, county, and local levels in a timely manner, and advising clients on the tax impact of various corporate and/ or individual strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate Federal and State tax returns for Corporations, Partnerships, Individuals, Trusts, and Personal Property Taxes
  • Calculate, prepare, and communicate extensions and estimate tax payments for business entities and individual filers
  • Perform tax research projects as assigned utilizing authoritative materials
  • Maintain a strong understanding of tax laws
  • Review work product produced by other tax preparers
  • Assist clients with any problems that may arise with their taxes and estimating tax payments
  • Complete, Communicate, and follow through on new entity filing and license applications
  • Coordinate Cost Segregation Studies
  • Assist with audits by various taxation authorities
  • Prepare written correspondence to Federal and State agencies and communicate results to clients
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with individual and corporate tax returns
  • CPA (Preferred)
  • Strong experience with Excel
